iPPC-6831-IoT CR is a panel-mount industrial PC that brings a 15-inch touch display, an Intel Atom E3845 processor and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC into a single unit. It suits projects where operator interface, data acquisition and control need to share one enclosure rather than being spread across separate hardware.
The unit provides 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM and a 128 GB SSD, with a CF card slot for additional storage. Two RJ-45 10/100/1000BASE-TX Ethernet ports, three serial ports (one RS-232, one RS-485 and one switchable RS-232/RS-485, both with 2500 VDC isolation) and three USB 2.0 host ports handle communication. Three slots accept I-8K and I-87K series I/O modules, and the system can also use remote Ethernet and RS-485 I/O modules.
The fanless design has no moving parts, and the front panel is rated NEMA 4/IP65 for protection against sprayed water, humidity and dust. It is specified for an operating temperature range of -20 ~ +60 °C and is intended for panel mounting with a 366 x 290 mm cut-out.
