Gateway
GRP-2841M CR is a Linux-based gateway that bridges Ethernet and serial networks and can send the data over a cellular link. Its Cortex-A53 quad-core CPU, 1.6 GHz, with 1 GB LPDDR4 RAM handles large data volumes, which suits multi-device data collection in demanding plant environments. The unit works as an intelligent Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) and as a multiport serial gateway, with NAT and port forwarding built in. Its optional 4G/5G wireless module enables wireless data transmission, and the optional GPS function supports use as a tracking system for vehicle or maritime management. Remote I/O, Modbus data and camera video can all be carried in M2M applications. The CR code is the RoHS-marked variant of the GRP-2841M series, listed as a 4G/5G/Ethernet Gateway. Confirm the wireless module and GPS configuration against your requirements before ordering, as both are described as options for the series.Applications4G / 5G / Ethernet gateway applicationsRemote video monitoringSerial port gateway applicationsNode-RED applicationsVehicle management and maritime GPS trackingM2M data transmission of remote I/O, Modbus data or camera video
The GRP-540M-4GE CR connects Ethernet, serial and CAN devices to cellular networks, giving engineers a way to reach remote equipment over 4G LTE with 3G WCDMA and 2G GSM fallback. It works as a 4G router with port mapping, and as a serial-to-4G gateway for field devices that have no network connection of their own.The unit adds GPS with 32-channel All-In-View tracking, so it can also be deployed as a GPS tracking node. Remote I/O and Modbus data, or camera video, can be carried over the cellular link, making the device suited to distributed M2M monitoring.Built with a metal casing and rated for harsh industrial environments, the gateway mounts on DIN-rail or by screw. Micro SD expansion and a watchdog timer support unattended operation.Applications4G router for remote sitesRemote video monitoringSerial port to 4G gatewayGPS tracking systemsM2M transfer of remote I/O and Modbus data over 4G/3G/2G
