Power Meter Concentrator
The PMC-5231 CR collects power data from ICP DAS Modbus power meters over RS-485 or Ethernet, then displays, logs and reports it from a standard web browser. It suits energy monitoring projects where engineers want to measure consumption, analyse usage and manage power demand without writing custom code.Beyond metering, the unit can act on what it measures. Its built-in IF-THEN-ELSE logic engine, timer and schedule functions can adjust the operation of Modbus I/O modules according to power status, while alarm messages are sent via LINE, Telegram or Email. Data is written to a microSD card, and log files are sent back to the back-end system and recovered automatically when a network connection is restored.Integration with supervisory and IT systems is handled through Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, FTP and MQTT, with connection options for Microsoft Azure, IBM Bluemix and ICP DAS IoTstar Cloud software.
