WLS-T02 CR is a battery-powered 2.4GHz tag that broadcasts wireless location packets to a WLS-R01 receiver. It suits engineers building a locating system where items or people need to be identified and found across a site, with the buzzer allowing a tagged asset to be located quickly by sound.
The tag offers 16 RF channels in the 2.405 GHz to 2.48 GHz ISM band, set in 5 MHz segments, and 16 RF power levels, both adjustable with the front button. Transmission uses DSSS with OQPSK modulation and a built-in 2.4GHz 3dBi PCB directional antenna, with a line-of-sight range of 100 m (typical). The buzzer can be enabled remotely, and a low battery LED gives warning before replacement. The manufacturer lists this variant for Asia only, so check local availability before specifying it.
