PCI Express Analog Output
The PEX-DA16 CR is a 16-channel, 14-bit analogue output card for PCI Express slots, suited to engineers who need many control outputs in a single host PC. Each channel can be configured on its own as either a voltage output (±10 V) or a current output (0 ~ 20 mA, sink), so mixed signal types can share one board.Calibration is handled in software, so no jumpers or trim-pots need adjusting. The calibration data is stored in EEPROM for long-term use. A 4-bit Card ID switch lets the software identify individual boards when two or more cards are installed in the same computer. The card is also described as a drop-in replacement for the PIO-DA series, without changes to existing software or drivers. The board adds 16 channels of 5 V/TTL digital input and 16 channels of 5 V/TTL digital output, with pull-high and pull-low jumpers for the DI channels. Analogue outputs use double-buffered DA latching and static update mode. The card is CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE certified and ships with one CA-4002 D-Sub connector.ApplicationsHigh speed data acquisition systemProcess monitor and controlVibration analysisDigital pattern generator from digital I/O port
The PEX-DA4 CR is a PCI Express x1 data acquisition board providing four 14-bit analogue output channels for engineers who need flexible signal generation in a PC. Each channel can be configured individually as a voltage output (±10 V) or a current output (0 to 20 mA, sink), so a single board can drive mixed signal types without hardware changes.Calibration is performed in software rather than with jumpers or trim-pots, and the calibration data is stored in EEPROM for long-term use. The board also includes a 4-bit Card ID switch so that individual cards can be identified in software when two or more boards are installed in the same computer. The PEX-DA series is designed as a direct replacement for the PIO-DA series, requiring no modification to existing software or drivers.Besides the four analogue outputs, the board provides 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs, both 5 V, with 500 kHz typical response speed, plus three 16-bit timer/counter/frequency channels. It ships with one CA-4002 D-Sub connector, and is CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE certified.ApplicationsHigh speed data acquisition systemProcess monitoring and controlVibration analysisDigital pattern generation from digital I/O port
The PEX-DA8 CR is an 8-channel, 14-bit analogue output board for PCI Express systems. It suits engineers who need several control outputs from a single PC slot, with voltage or current signals selected per channel rather than fixed for the whole card. Each channel can be configured independently as a voltage output (±10 V) or a current output (0 to 20 mA, sink). Calibration is handled in software, so the board has no jumpers or trim-pots to adjust, and calibration data is stored in EEPROM. A 4-bit Card ID switch lets software identify individual boards when two or more are installed in the same computer. The board also includes 16 channels of 5 V/TTL digital input, 16 channels of 5 V/CMOS digital output and three 16-bit timer/counter channels. It is supplied with one CA-4002 D-Sub connector. According to the manufacturer's notes, it is designed as a direct replacement for the PIO-DA series without changes to existing software or drivers.ApplicationsHigh speed data acquisition systemsProcess monitoring and controlVibration analysisDigital pattern generation from digital I/O ports
