The CL-221-E is a data logger module for monitoring indoor air quality and climate. It measures PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 particulates, carbon monoxide, temperature and relative humidity, calculates the dew point, and stamps every record with date and time for later download.
Readings can be polled over RS-485 or Ethernet, with PoE available, using DCON, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP or MQTT. That makes it straightforward to feed an existing HMI, SCADA or distributed control system, or to publish data to an IoT platform. A relay output can drive an alarm or an indoor air quality (IAQ) device when set limits are reached.
Configuration is done through a web-based interface, and a software utility plus iOS and Android apps are included for setup and monitoring. The module is intended for ceiling or wall mounting in dry indoor locations, with an operating range of 0 ~ 50°C.
