I-7565-G CR is a USB to CAN converter that lets a PC communicate directly with a CAN bus network. The PC can act as the CAN host, a monitor or an HMI, accessing and controlling CAN devices through the converter without a separate power supply, as it draws its power from the USB bus.The CAN port is isolated to 3000 Vrms, protecting the PC and local devices from faults or disturbances arriving from the CAN network. The unit supports CAN 2.0A and CAN 2.0B at up to 1 Mbps, with a rotary switch for setting the CAN baud rate per channel and a jumper-selectable 120 ohm terminal resistor.
