tPET-P2C2 CR is a tiny Ethernet I/O module that monitors two digital inputs and switches two open-collector outputs over a 10/100 Mbit/s network. Its Modbus TCP and Modbus UDP support allows straightforward integration with HMI, SCADA, PLC and other software systems, while MQTT is available for messaging-based architectures.
The module is powered either from a PoE switch under IEEE 802.3af (Class 1) or from a +12 to +48 VDC terminal block supply, so it can run on a standard Cat 5 cable where a PoE switch is present and fall back to a DC adapter where it is not. Two removable terminal blocks simplify wiring, and the small 52 x 95 x 27 mm housing suits DIN-rail installation in tight control cabinets.
Digital inputs offer latched DI, 32-bit counters and frequency measurement, and an I/O pair connection can be configured to push or pull status between modules. A CPU watchdog and a host watchdog protect against firmware faults and loss of the controlling host, with a predefined safe value for the outputs. Configuration is handled through the built-in web server.
