The tM-AD5C CR is an analog input module for acquiring current signals in RS-485 control and monitoring networks. It provides five differential input channels, and all channels share a programmable range of ±20 mA, 0 ~ 20 mA or 4 ~ 20 mA, so common current loop signals can be measured without changing the hardware.
Sampling can be set to normal mode (10 Hz, 14-bit resolution, ±0.1% accuracy) or fast mode (200 Hz, 12-bit resolution, ±0.5% accuracy), allowing you to balance update rate against resolution and accuracy. The module offers 2500 VDC intra-module isolation and ±4 kV contact ESD protection on each terminal.
Communication uses a single RS-485 port that supports DCON, Modbus RTU and Modbus ASCII at 1200 ~ 115200 bps. Programmable module and communication watchdogs are included, and the unit is powered at 10 ~ 30 VDC from the terminal block with reverse polarity protection. It mounts on a DIN-rail.
