PDSM-734D Serial-to-Ethernet Device Server, 3 Serial Ports, 4x DI/4x DO

Product information "PDSM-734D Serial-to-Ethernet Device Server, 3 Serial Ports, 4x DI/4x DO"

The PDSM-734D is a programmable serial-to-Ethernet device server for bringing RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422/485 equipment onto an Ethernet network. Its metal case offers stronger protection than the standard PDS-700 housing, which suits cabinet and field installations where robustness matters.

Each unit provides one RS-232, one RS-485 and one RS-422/485 port, plus four digital inputs and four open-collector digital outputs. The VxComm driver and utility map the built-in COM ports to standard COM ports on Windows PCs, so existing serial software can run over the network. The unit can also act as a Modbus TCP to RTU/ASCII gateway for SCADA and HMI systems.

The PDSM-734D is supplied with a CA-0910 cable and is mounted on a wall. It operates from a +10 ~ 30 VDC terminal block supply across -25 ~ +75 °C.
