The NSM-206PSE is an unmanaged 6-port Ethernet switch that acts as a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) on ports 1 to 4. It lets you centralise power for connected devices, so powered endpoints can be fed over the same cable as their data link, with up to 30 W per channel.
Ports 1 to 4 are fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, with automatic detection and power management. The unit runs from a redundant dual 12 to 57 VDC input with reverse polarity protection, and the store and forward switching architecture operates at wire speed with 10/100 Mbps auto negotiation on every port.
The metal-cased switch mounts on a DIN rail or, optionally, on a wall, and is rated for an operating temperature of -40 °C to +75 °C. The ordering code CR variant is supplied with a metal case and is RoHS compliant.
