Product information "tM-C8 8-Channel Isolated Digital Output Module, Sink (NPN), RS-485"
The tM-C8 CR is an RS-485 remote I/O module that switches eight isolated open-collector outputs in sink (NPN) mode. Each channel is photocoupler-isolated and protected against short circuits, so it suits on/off control tasks where output reliability matters.
Power-on and safe output states are both programmable, so outputs can be held in a defined condition when the module starts up or when communication is lost. A dual watchdog, covering the module and the communication link, adds further protection for unattended operation.
Electrical robustness is covered by 3750 VDC intra-module isolation and 4 kV ESD contact protection on each terminal. The module draws up to 0.8 W from a 10 ~ 30 VDC terminal block supply and is designed for DIN-rail installation.
