The tM-AD2 CR is a 2-channel isolated analog input module for RS-485 networks, accepting voltage and current signals with a programmable range and 120 VDC overvoltage protection.

tM-AD2 CR is a DIN-rail analog input module for RS-485 remote I/O networks. It has two single-ended inputs that accept voltage and current signals, and each input can be set to one of seven ranges, from 0 ~ 500 mV up to 4 ~ 20 mA. Individual channel configuration and open wire detection help with commissioning and fault finding.
Engineers choose the tM-AD2 CR when signals need to be read reliably in electrically noisy or exposed environments. It offers 2500 VDC intra-module isolation, 120 VDC overvoltage protection, 4 kV ESD protection and reverse polarity protection on the power input. The module runs from 10 ~ 30 VDC and draws 0.7 W max.
The sampling rate is adjustable. Normal mode gives 14-bit resolution and ±0.1% accuracy at 10 Hz, while fast mode gives 12-bit resolution and ±0.5% accuracy at 200 Hz. The module communicates over one RS-485 port using DCON, Modbus RTU or Modbus ASCII, and a dual watchdog covers the module and communication.
