The WISE-7255 CR is a standalone intelligent I/O module from the WISE series that handles remote control and monitoring without a separate PLC or custom firmware. Its built-in web pages let you create IF-THEN-ELSE control logic in the browser, so there is no need to write code or install a dedicated software tool.
On the I/O side, the module provides 8 digital inputs that accept dry or wet contacts (sink/source) and 8 isolated open-collector outputs (source type), each rated for 650 mA per channel at 25 °C. Timer operations, I/O channel monitoring and control, and non-SSL email or CGI command sending are included. Power can come from IEEE 802.3af Class 1 PoE or from a 12 ~ 48 VDC terminal block input.
A two-port Ethernet switch allows daisy-chain wiring, and Modbus TCP support makes integration with SCADA systems straightforward. The WISE-7255 CR is listed as RoHS compliant and suits building, factory and machine automation as well as remote maintenance and diagnostic equipment.
