The I-7015 CR is a six-channel RTD input module for temperature measurement with resistance temperature detectors. Each channel can be set up for a different sensor type, so one module can serve a mixed set of measurement points on the same RS-485 bus.
Measurement and diagnostics: Channels are configured individually and support Pt100, Pt1000, Ni120, Cu50, Cu100 and Cu1000 sensors, with resistance measurement up to 3.2 kΩ. The 16-bit converter delivers an accuracy of ±0.05% of FSR at a total sampling rate of 12 Hz. Open wire detection helps identify broken sensor leads during operation.
Installation and communication: The module communicates over one RS-485 port using the DCON protocol, with baud rates from 1200 to 115200 bps. It has 3000 VDC intra-module isolation, ±4 kV ESD contact protection and a built-in dual watchdog. It mounts on a DIN rail and is supplied from +10 to +30 VDC with a consumption of 1.1 W. This blue-cover CR version is the RoHS-compliant ordering code.
