F-8028CH CR is a 16-bit, 8-channel analog output module for the iDCS-8000 system. A digital-to-analogue converter driven by the system module turns control data into current signals on each channel, with start-up and safe values set through the configuration software.
The module suits applications that need accurate outputs and remote device maintenance. Accuracy is specified at ±0.05% FSR, and a built-in HART master lets engineers reach HART-enabled field devices remotely. Each channel is isolated at 3000 VDC from the backplane bus and from frame ground, so a fault on one output channel should not affect other components in the system.
Redundancy is supported, with a redundant switching time below 1 ms. Open wire detection and overrange output help with diagnostics, and the operating temperature range is -25 ~ +75 °C.
