I-7188XCD-512 is a serial programmable automation controller built around an 80188-20 CPU running the MiniOS7 operating system. It suits engineers who need a compact, DIN-rail mounted controller that can take over tasks from a PC or PLC in demanding industrial environments, and it is programmed in C.
On board you get 512 KB Flash, 128 KB SRAM and 2 KB EEPROM, together with one RS-485 port and one RS-232/RS-485 port running at up to 115200 bps. Two dry contact inputs and three open-collector outputs (+30 VDC max., 100 mA) handle simple switching tasks, while the X-board I/O expansion bus allows additional I/O to be added. A 5-digit 7-segment LED display, a programmable status LED and a watchdog timer support local indication and system reliability.
