DN-843I-CT-50 CR is a three-channel current transformer module that converts currents up to ±50 A, AC or DC, into a proportional ±4 Vpp signal. This lets engineers measure high currents with standard low-voltage analogue input modules, without routing high-current conductors into the control electronics.
The "I" version adds galvanic isolation of 3000 VDC between input and output and 3000 Vrms between channels. This keeps noise from the high-current side out of the measurement path and separates the channels from one another. The module is suited to use with analogue input modules such as the I-7017 and I-87017.
Each channel uses a closed solid core with a 20.4 x 10.4 mm aperture and is powered from +10 VDC to +24 VDC. The plastic DIN-rail housing covers an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C.
