The A-626/S CR is an ISA bus data acquisition board for PC-based control that provides six 12-bit analogue output channels alongside 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. Each D/A channel can be set by jumper to a voltage range of ±10 V, ±5 V, 0 ~ 5 V or 0 ~ 10 V, or to a 4 ~ 20 mA current sink output, so one card can suit a mix of actuators and control inputs.
Its on-board BB Ref-01 reference chip is included to reduce thermal drift of the reference voltage. The card works with internal reference voltages of -5 V and -10 V, or an external reference of up to ±10 V AC or DC, and it supports IRQ levels from IRQ3 to IRQ15. It connects directly to DB-16P, DB-16R, DB-24PR, DN-20 and DN-37 wiring boards.
Software support covers Linux, DOS, Windows 98/NT/2000 and 32-bit Windows XP/Vista/7. A DLL and ActiveX control are provided, with sample programs for Turbo C++, Borland C++, Microsoft C++, Visual C++, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic and LabVIEW. The A-726 is a newer generation card designed to be fully compatible with the A-626, while the A-628 offers 8 AO channels.
