XV310 CR adds mixed analogue and digital I/O to a PAC system from a single expansion board. Each of the four analogue inputs can be set to its own range, from ±1 V up to ±10 V, ±20 mA, 0 ~ 20 mA or 4 ~ 20 mA, with 16-bit resolution. The two analogue outputs provide 12-bit resolution in ±5 V, ±10 V, 0 ~ 20 mA or 4 ~ 20 mA. Voltage or current operation is selected by jumper.
The four digital inputs are dry-contact type and can also be used as 32-bit counters. The four digital outputs are PNP source type, rated for +10 to +40 VDC at 650 mA per channel, with overload and short-circuit protection. Power-on output values are programmable, so outputs can be set to a defined state at start-up.
Protection features include 120 VDC overvoltage protection on the analogue inputs and 60 VDC on the digital inputs, with 2000 VDC intra-module isolation. The board communicates through one RS-232 port at 115200 bps using Modbus/RTU, and is rated for operation from -25 ~ +75 °C.
