Product information "PISO-MN200EC Dual-line Motionnet PCI Master Card with Parallel I/O"
Dual-line Motionnet master for distributed control in PCs. The PISO-MN200EC installs in a universal 32-bit/33 MHz PCI slot and drives two Motionnet lines, each supporting up to 64 slave modules, for a total of 128. Communication runs at 2.5, 5, 10 or 20 Mbps, selected in software.
Use one line for remote I/O or both lines for motion. On an I/O-only line the card exchanges signals with up to 2048 points across 64 local devices within 0.97 msec. On a motion line it controls up to 64 axes, covering continuous positioning, zero return and multi-axis interpolation.
Alongside the Motionnet connections, the card provides parallel I/O with 8 input channels (12-24 V, NPN or PNP) and 4 output channels (NPN or PNP), each isolated to 3000 Vrms. An optional quadrature encoder input is available for linear scales or manual pulse generators. The EzGO Utility is supplied to help set up and tune the system.
