The PIO-DA4U/S CR is a 4-channel analogue output card for universal PCI slots, offering 14-bit resolution. Each channel can be configured individually as either a voltage output (±10 V) or a current output (0 to 20 mA), so one board can drive a mix of field device types.
Calibration is performed in software rather than with jumpers or trim-pots, and the calibration data can be stored in EEPROM. The card also provides 16 channels of 5 V/TTL digital input and 16 channels of 5 V/TTL digital output, with pull-high and pull-low options on the digital input channels. An onboard Card ID switch helps identify individual boards when two or more are installed in the same computer.
This variant ships with a CA-3710 D-Sub cable. The PIO-DA4U CR version is supplied with a CA-4002 D-Sub connector instead, so choose the variant that matches your wiring preference.
