The PCIe-S112 CR is a PCI Express x1 serial communication card that adds two RS-232 ports to a host PC. Each port has a 256-byte hardware FIFO and supports full-duplex communication at up to 921600 bps, which suits engineers who need reliable serial links to several devices from one slot.
It is designed for intelligent devices such as bar code readers, serial printers, intelligent sensors, instrumentation and any equipment with an RS-232 port. The short card design helps it fit compact host systems. The card is listed with CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE certification.
