The ISO-DA16 CR is a 16-channel, 14-bit analogue output board for PC/AT compatible computers with an ISA bus. Each output has its own converter and optical isolation rated for up to 2500 Vrms common-mode voltage, which suits programmable voltage sources and programmable current sinks in process control and harsh environments.
Output type (unipolar or bipolar) and range can be set in software across 0 ~ 5 V, ±5 V, 0 ~ 10 V and ±10 V. Each converter also provides a 4 ~ 20 mA current sink to ground, and the outputs use double-buffered D/A latches with command set programming.
The board is jumperless and trimless. Calibration is carried out under software control with the data held in EEPROM, and the power-on value of each output can be pre-defined and stored on board. This ordering code includes one CA-4002 D-Sub connector.
