The I-8057-G CR provides 16 photocoupler-isolated digital output channels, each implemented as an open collector with sink-type (NPN) switching. It suits engineers who need to drive relays, indicators or other 5 to 30 VDC loads from an I-8K/I-87K low-profile I/O stack, with each channel electrically separated from the others and from the logic side.
Each output has its own LED, so the state of all 16 channels can be read at a glance on the front panel, alongside a combined power and communication indicator. Built-in protection includes 3750 VDC intra-module isolation and ±4 kV ESD protection on each terminal, tested to IEC 61000-4-2.
The -G suffix denotes the gray-cover version of the I-8057 module. Its power consumption is 0.9 W maximum, and it is rated for an operating range of -25 to +75 °C with 10 to 90% RH non-condensing humidity.
