Product information "I-8041PW-G 32-ch Isolated Sink DO Module with Self Protection"
The I-8041PW-G CR provides 32 photocoupler-isolated digital outputs in a single module, switching loads through open-collector sink (NPN) drivers rated for +10 ~ +50 VDC. Each channel handles up to 100 mA, making it suited to driving field devices such as indicators, relays and actuators from a 32-point output card.
Protection is built in on every output. The module provides overvoltage protection at 60 VDC, overload protection at 1.1 A and short-circuit protection, so a faulty load is less likely to damage the output stage. A 3750 VDC intra-module isolation rating and ±4 kV ESD protection per terminal support electrically noisy installations.
Each channel has an LED indicator for quick status checks, and a power and communication LED is also fitted. The CA-4002F DB37 female connector with plastic cover is included in this ordering code. The manufacturer also lists the DN-37-381-A CR daughterboard for easier wiring and the DN-8K32R for relay output.
