I-7532RM-FD 2-Port CAN/CAN FD Bridge with Rotary Baud Rate Switch
Two-port CAN/CAN FD bridge with rotary-switch baud rate selection. It links CAN and CAN FD networks and converts messages between them, with no PC needed for basic setup.
- Bridges CAN and CAN FD networks in any combination, with an independent baud rate on each port
- Rotary switch selects common CAN/CAN FD baud rates, or user-defined rates can be set with the Utility tool
- CAN FD ISO and Non-ISO (Bosch) standards are switchable
- CAN bit rates from 10 kbps to 1000 kbps, CAN FD data field rates from 100 kbps to 10000 kbps
- Message filtering plus forwarding, mapping, merging and splitting rules
- Up to 10,000 fps per port with a 128-frame receive buffer

Product information "I-7532RM-FD 2-Port CAN/CAN FD Bridge with Rotary Baud Rate Switch"
The I-7532RM-FD links two CAN or CAN FD networks through an isolated bridge, so you can extend a bus, increase its loading capacity or join segments running at different baud rates. It converts messages in every direction: CAN to CAN, CAN to CAN FD, CAN FD to CAN and CAN FD to CAN FD.
Frame mapping, merging and splitting rules let specific messages be reshaped as they pass between networks. Merging combines several CAN messages into one CAN FD message, and splitting does the reverse. Filter and forwarding rules are configured over USB with the Utility tool, and each port handles up to 10,000 fps.
Unlike the I-7532M-FD, which needs a PC to set baud rates, the I-7532RM-FD has a rotary switch for selecting common CAN and CAN FD baud rates on site. This suits installation and maintenance work where a computer is not connected.
Applications
- Bridging two CAN or CAN FD networks
- Increasing CAN bus loading capacity
- Extending CAN communication distance
- Connecting CAN/CAN FD networks that run at different baud rates
- Converting messages between CAN and CAN FD networks
- On-site installation and maintenance by system integrators and field service engineers
