ECAT-M808-64AX CR is a PCI Express EtherCAT MainDevice board that lets a PC run multi-axis motion and I/O control over EtherCAT. Its built-in CPU handles the motion and I/O functions, which reduces the load on the host PC. The board supports up to 64 axes and up to 512 slave nodes, with an EtherCAT cycle time of up to 0.5 ms.
Synchronised motion is available through E-GEAR and E-CAM functions, together with virtual axes and multi-axis linear interpolation. On-board I/O comprises 13 digital inputs and 13 digital outputs, plus two 32-bit encoder interfaces with compare trigger output. A second CPU provides EtherCAT communication retention, so the EtherCAT link and process recipe can continue running even if the operating system or an application crashes.
This ordering code is supplied without cable and daughter board, as stated in the ordering information. The board carries CE, UKCA, RoHS and WEEE marking and is rated for an operating temperature of 0 ~ +60 °C.
