EC21-AU CR is a low-power LTE category 1 module designed for M2M and IoT products that need economical, efficient cellular connectivity. It supports up to 10 Mbps downlink and 5 Mbps uplink on 4G LTE, which suits applications where data rate is less important than a stable, reliable network connection.
The module uses the standard PCI Express Mini Card (Mini PCIe) form factor, so it can be fitted into a device design without a custom interface. Its 4G coverage spans FDD LTE bands B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8 and B28 plus TDD LTE band B40. For legacy networks it also provides 3G WCDMA on 850/900/1900/2100 MHz with DC-HSPA+ up to 42 Mbps downlink, and 2G GPRS/EGPRS on 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.
The compact module measures 30.0 x 51.0 x 4.9 mm (W x L x H) and operates from -35 °C to +75 °C, with storage rated from -40 °C to +85 °C. It is certified to FCC, RoHS and WEEE requirements and is produced in China.
