IR-712-MTCP learns infrared remote commands from a wide range of consumer and AV equipment, stores them in the module or exports them to a file, and then transmits them on demand. Its two IR outputs can drive separate devices one at a time or several at once, which makes it a practical way to bring non-networked remote-controlled equipment into a networked control system.
Control is handled over Ethernet. The module acts as a Modbus TCP/UDP server, so PACs, PLCs and PC-based clients can trigger stored commands directly. An ASCII string command set over DCON (TCP/UDP) is also available for emitting IR signals. Configuration, learning, testing and command storage are carried out with the supplied IR utility.
This ordering code includes two CA-IR-SH2251 emitter cables for the IR outputs. The module is intended for DIN-rail installation and is suited to smart home, building automation and AV installations where IR control needs to be integrated with a higher-level system.
