The ET-7016 is an Ethernet I/O module for remote strain gauge measurement. It provides two differential analogue input channels that accept full-bridge, half-bridge and quarter-bridge wiring, along with a 0 ~ 10 V excitation output to power the bridge. Each analogue input can be configured with its own range, covering millivolt, voltage and current spans, so a single module can handle mixed sensor types.
On the digital side, the module offers two wet-contact inputs that can also count pulses, and two isolated open-collector outputs rated at 700 mA per channel. The digital outputs can be set as alarm outputs. Long-distance measurements are supported with compensation for the voltage loss along the cable run.
Communication is handled through a single 10/100 Base-TX RJ-45 port using Modbus TCP or Modbus UDP. A built-in web server and web HMI allow configuration and monitoring, and access can be restricted by ID, password and IP filter. Dual watchdogs and I/O pair connection add to the module's operational reliability, and it mounts on a DIN rail.
