The tPET-P2A2 CR is an IP-based Ethernet I/O module that monitors two digital inputs and drives two open-collector outputs over a 10/100 Base-Tx network. It supports Modbus TCP, so it can be read and controlled directly from HMI, SCADA, PLC and other software systems.
Beyond basic I/O, the module can run a DI-to-DO pair connection across Ethernet, polling local inputs and writing to a remote output device in the background. A CPU watchdog and a host watchdog, together with a configurable safe output value, help keep outputs in a defined state if the module or the controlling host fails.
Power can come from PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 1) over a standard Category 5 cable, or from a +12 to +48 VDC terminal block input as a redundant supply. The module is designed for DIN-rail mounting and is rated for an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C.
