USB-87P1-G CR extends a host system's I/O over a single USB connection. It takes one I-87K series module and includes an intelligent CPU module that communicates using the ASCII-based DCON protocol. Over 30 I-87K series I/O types, covering analogue and digital input and output, counter and frequency functions, are supported with the unit.
The unit is built for harsh and electrically noisy sites. It accepts a wide 10 ~ 30 VDC power input, has an isolated power input and runs across a -25 ~ +75 °C operating range. Installation and maintenance are simplified by hot swap support, automatic configuration and LED indicators for fault detection.
Software support includes DLL, LabVIEW driver, InduSoft driver, Linux driver and OPC server options, so the I-87K modules fitted to the unit can be integrated into a range of software systems. The grey cover (G) variant is the one supplied under this ordering code.
