R-9028CH CR is an 8-channel analogue current output module for the RIO-98x0 redundant I/O system. Each channel is a 16-bit, channel-isolated 4~20mA source output with a tolerance of ±0.05% FSR, and it can drive up to ±25% overrange (0 ~ 24 mA).
The module suits applications where reliable actuator or field device control and wiring supervision matter. Power-on and safe values define the output state during start-up or abnormal conditions, while channel and terminal board disconnection detection help confirm wiring integrity. A built-in HART master lets engineers read HART device information from connected point-to-point instruments.
Redundancy is supported, so the system can keep operating if a single I/O module fails, with a switching time below 1 ms. The module requires an RDB-S09 or RDB-D09 terminal board for external connections and provides 3000 VDC isolation between the power supply and the backplane bus.
