PIR-130-AC (ordering code PIR-130-AC CR) combines a 360° passive infrared motion sensor with a temperature sensor in one ceiling-mounted module. It is aimed at indoor lighting and ventilation control, where it can switch a connected load when motion is detected, and at room temperature monitoring or fire alarm signalling.
The motion section has a photo sensor, so switching can take ambient light into account. Time delay, lux level and sensitivity can be adjusted, using hardware switches or software settings. A relay output, rated at 10 A NO and 6 A NC at 250 VAC, can switch lights directly, with loads of up to 1500 W incandescent or 300 W fluorescent (T8).
Status is reported over a single RS-485 port that supports DCON and Modbus RTU at baud rates from 1200 to 115200. Two LEDs show power and communication status and alarm state, which helps with commissioning and fault finding.
