The I-8124W-G adds a DeviceNet master port to WinPAC, ViewPAC and XPAC-CE6 controllers over the parallel bus. It runs a CAN controller with an isolated DeviceNet port, so an engineer can run a DeviceNet network from a PAC without a separate fieldbus gateway.
The master supports up to 64 nodes, with a programmable master MAC ID and Group 2 and UCMM functions. Poll, Bit-Strobe and Change Of State/Cyclic I/O operation modes are available, and the module can auto-scan slave devices, add or remove devices while the network is online, and reconnect automatically after a broken connection.
Suited to valve and sensor integration and to drive communication, the module is supplied as ordering code I-8124W-G CR. Key specifications include a 125k, 250k or 500k baud rate, a switchable 120 Ω terminal resistor, 3000 VDC DC-to-DC isolation and an operating range of -25 ~ +75 ℃.
