The I-7188XA CR is a palm-size programmable automation controller built around an 80188-40 CPU and the MiniOS7 operating system. It suits engineers who need a compact, reliable controller to take over duties from a PC or PLC in demanding environments, with C language development support.
On board you get 512 KB Flash, 2 KB EEPROM and 512 KB SRAM, plus four serial ports (2 x RS-232, 1 x RS-485 and 1 x RS-232/RS-485). Built-in digital I/O comprises 2 dry contact inputs and 2 open-collector outputs, and an I/O expansion bus accepts X-board expansion modules.
