F-8028CV CR is an 8-channel analogue output module for the iDCS-8000 system, built to drive current and voltage signals from a controller. Each channel converts 16-bit digital data from the system module into an output signal, with the output range programmable per channel. Start-up (power-on) and safe values are set through the configuration software, so outputs can be placed in a defined state.
The module suits applications where output accuracy and fault containment matter. It specifies ±0.05% FSR accuracy and provides 3000 VDC isolation between the outputs and the backplane bus, and between the outputs and frame ground. A fault on one channel, such as a high voltage or current event, is isolated so that it does not affect other components in the system.
Redundancy is supported, with a redundant switching time of less than 1 ms. Protection and diagnostics include short circuit protection, open wire detection on the 4 ~ 20 mA range and overrange output. The module operates from -25 °C to +75 °C with 5 to 95% RH, non-condensing.
