The tET-PD2R1 CR is a compact IP-based Ethernet I/O module that pairs two dry-contact digital inputs with a single Form A power relay output. It suits engineers who need to monitor switch contacts and switch a load from a network host, within a very small footprint that mounts on a DIN rail.
Configuration is handled through a built-in web server, and the module supports Modbus TCP, Modbus UDP and MQTT. Digital inputs can be set to latched mode, and each input offers a 32-bit counter and frequency measurement, with a maximum counting frequency of 3.5 kHz without filter. The module can also be configured for I/O pair connection, polling local DI channels and writing to a remote DO device over Ethernet.
Reliability features include a CPU watchdog and a host watchdog, with a programmable safe value for the relay output if the host controller fails. Output power-on and safe values are configurable, and firmware can be updated over Ethernet. Power is taken from a terminal block at +12 to +48 VDC, with reverse polarity protection.
