The USB-4018HS-16 is a USB-connected thermocouple measurement module for engineers who need 16 channels of temperature data on a PC without a dedicated data acquisition card. It is bus powered, so no separate power supply is needed, and it supports thermocouple types J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, C, L, M and L (DIN43710).
Each channel carries out automatic cold-junction compensation, with a stated resolution of 0.1ºC and accuracy of ±0.5ºC. Each channel samples at 100 Hz, and 3000 VDC intra-module isolation separates the module's internal circuits. The module is configured through the USB-4000 series Utility, which allows setup and testing without writing code.
A 1.5 m lockable USB cable with a ferrite core is included with this ordering code. The module uses a Modbus RTU protocol over its USB virtual COM port, and the driver is supplied for Windows 7/10/11 and Linux (kernel 2.4 or later).
