The PMD-2201-TC CR is a panel-mount power meter concentrator for engineers who need to collect, log and act on energy data without writing control software. Configuration is done in a browser or on the local 7" touch display, so logic, schedules and reports are set up through web pages rather than programmed. The -TC suffix identifies the Traditional Chinese variant.
The unit reads ICP DAS Modbus power meter modules and Modbus I/O modules over two RS-485 ports and one RJ-45 Ethernet port. Up to 24 power meter modules plus 8 I/O modules can be connected, subject to a maximum of 16 Modbus TCP modules in total. A built-in IF-THEN-ELSE logic engine supports power demand management, and I/O modules can be switched according to power status, for example to shed loads.
Measured values are logged to a microSD card, with data log files sent back automatically once a disconnected network is restored. Alarm messages can be sent via LINE, Telegram or Email, and the unit supports Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, FTP and MQTT for integration with SCADA, MES and IoT platforms, including Microsoft Azure and IBM Bluemix.
