M-7017C-G is an eight-channel RS-485 I/O module for engineers who only need to read current signals. Each differential input is measured directly, so there is no need to fit an external shunt resistor on the terminals, which keeps wiring and commissioning simple.
The module communicates over Modbus RTU or DCON, selectable through the configuration software. Inputs support ±20 mA, 0 ~ 20 mA and 4 ~ 20 mA ranges at 16-bit resolution with ±0.1% of FSR accuracy, and open wire detection is available for 4 ~ 20 mA loops. Hardware specifications match the I-7017C.
This gray-cover variant is the M-7017C-G ordering code offered here. It is intended for building, factory and machine automation, as well as remote maintenance, remote diagnosis and test equipment.
