The ET-7028 CR is an Ethernet I/O module that provides eight analogue output channels for controlling field devices from a network. It suits engineers who need networked analogue control in building, factory and machine automation.
Each channel can be set to a voltage range (+0 ~ +5 VDC, ±5 VDC, +0 ~ +10 VDC or ±10 VDC) or a current range (0 ~ 20 mA or 4 ~ 20 mA). The output type is chosen per channel by jumper position, and channels can be configured individually. Output resolution is 12-bit with an accuracy of ±0.1% of FSR, and open wire detection is available for 4 ~ 20 mA use. Power-on and safe values are programmable.
Communication uses one RJ-45 10/100 Base-TX port with Modbus TCP and Modbus UDP. A built-in web server and web HMI, ID, password and IP filter access control, and programmable module and communication watchdogs support secure and supervised operation. The module is powered from +10 ~ +30 VDC with reverse polarity protection and is designed for DIN-rail mounting over -25 ~ +75 °C.
