tPET-C4 CR is a compact Ethernet digital output module for engineers who need to switch loads remotely over a 10/100 Mbps network. Its four open-collector outputs are configured as sink (NPN) type and rated at 100 mA per channel, with a load voltage range of +5 to +30 VDC.
The module supports Modbus TCP, Modbus UDP and MQTT, so it can be integrated with HMI, SCADA, PLC and other software systems. It can also be set up for I/O pair connection, where it writes to a remote digital output device based on the status of local inputs. A dual-watchdog arrangement covers the module firmware and the host controller, and the outputs can move to a predefined Safe Value if the host fails.
Power can be taken from PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 1) over a standard Category 5 cable, or from a +12 to +48 VDC terminal block input, which provides redundancy. The module has a built-in web server for configuration and supports firmware updates via Ethernet. It measures 52 x 95 x 27 mm and is designed for DIN-rail mounting.
