iDCS-8830 CR is a redundant, modular remote I/O system for engineers who need Ethernet-connected field I/O with a high level of availability. Auto configuration, hot swap and redundant operation are built in, and the system communicates over Modbus/TCP.
The station is assembled from separate power, communication, I/O and termination modules, so it can be tailored to mixed digital, analogue, counter and HART signal requirements. The 8-slot backplane accepts I/O modules in either single or redundant operation. This ordering code includes two FPM-D2440 power modules and two FCM-MTCP communication modules.
The unit measures 132 x 374 x 100 mm and is rated for an operating temperature of -25 ~ +75 °C and 5 ~ 95% RH, non-condensing. It carries CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE marks, and includes EFT (IEC 61000-4-4) and ESD (IEC 61000-4-2) protection.
