The F-8017CH CR is an 8-channel analogue input module for 4~20 mA current loops, designed for applications where signal integrity and remote access to field instruments both matter. Its 16-bit differential inputs offer ±0.05% FSR accuracy, and a 25% overrange allows measurement beyond the nominal span, although accuracy is not guaranteed in that region.
A built-in HART master lets you communicate with compatible field devices in a monodrop (point-to-point) topology, so configuration and diagnostic data can be read remotely without a separate HART modem. Redundancy support and a fast switchover time of under 100us help keep the I/O path available in critical installations.
Each channel is isolated with 3000 VDC from the output and backplane bus, and from frame ground. Faults on a channel are contained, so they should not propagate to other components in the iDCS-8000 system. The CR ordering code is supplied as the 8-ch isolated current input redundant module with HART master interface, RoHS compliant.
