DN-8468UB CR is a terminal daughter board for ICP DAS 4-axis motion controllers, including the I-8094, I-8094F, I-8094A, I-8094H and PISO-PS400. It breaks out pulse command, encoder feedback and limit signals for four axes onto snap-on terminal blocks, which keeps field wiring tidy and makes the board easier to service.
Each axis has its own group of signals covering pulse outputs, encoder feedback, home, near-home and limit inputs, and a servo-enable output. Onboard isolating circuitry protects the controller, and the terminal connectors can be swapped between axes to reassign axis functions without rewiring. The board is intended for general purpose drivers as well as Mitsubishi and Panasonic motor amplifiers.
An onboard power module accepts a wide 20 ~ 26 VDC input and supplies the voltages needed by the board circuitry. Power and status LEDs show the state of power, home and limit switches. Where the controller supports FRnet, the board also provides an FRnet terminal for high-speed serial I/O expansion.
