The I-7012F CR is a 1-channel analog input module that accepts voltage and current signals and reports them over an RS-485 DCON link. Its 16-bit resolution and switchable sampling modes suit engineers who need either precise readings at normal speed or faster updates when the process demands them.
Compared with the standard I-7012, this blue-cover variant offers a fast sampling mode of up to 100 Hz, selectable alongside a 10 Hz normal mode. It has no LED display, so it is a good choice where status is read remotely rather than on the module. The module also includes one digital input with a 50 Hz event counter and two open-collector digital outputs for high/low alarm purposes.
The module provides 3000 VDC intra-module isolation and dual watchdog protection, and is designed for DIN-rail mounting across a wide operating temperature range of -25 ~ +75 °C. Current inputs require an optional external 125 Ω resistor.
