The CAN-2024D is a DeviceNet general I/O slave that brings four 14-bit analog outputs onto a DeviceNet network. It is a Group 2 Only Server (non UCMM-capable) and supports the Predefined Master/Slave Connection Set, so it suits networks where a DeviceNet master polls the module for its output values.
Each channel can be set to one of six voltage or current ranges, with a 0.1 % of FSR accuracy specification for voltage output and 0.2 % of FSR for current output. Output status and configuration are accessed through the DeviceNet EDS file, and the module supports heartbeat and shutdown messages for network supervision.
The manufacturer lists communication with the following masters and gateways: Allen-Bradley 193-DNENCAT and 193-DNENCATR, and OMRON CJ1W-DRM21, CS1W-DRM21-V1, C200HW-DRM21-V1 and 3G8F7-DRM21-E. Order code CAN-2024D CR is the RoHS-compliant variant, mounts on DIN-rail and operates from a +10 to +30 VDC supply.
