The I-9054P CR is an I/O module that combines eight digital inputs with eight digital outputs. The inputs accept either dry or wet contact signals, and dry contact runs can reach up to 500 m. The outputs are photocoupler-isolated open collector stages configured for sink-type operation.
Each output channel can be given a configurable power-on value and safe value, so the outputs can be placed in a defined state at start-up or when communication is interrupted. Sixteen LED indicators display the status of the I/O channels, and a further LED shows power and communication status.
For electrically demanding installations, the module provides 3750 VDC intramodule isolation and ±4 kV contact ESD protection on each terminal. Its low power draw of 1 W maximum and its -25 ~ +75 °C operating range suit industrial control cabinets.
